The desire to know
WHAT IS BRIGHT HONG KONG?
Based in this city, Bright Hong Kong (a nonpolitical organization) filled-up an empty space of discussion about issues that involves critical thinking, individual integrity and tolerance.
The predominance of ideas that become the so called “main stream”, inhibit critical thinking and individual judgement. BHK seeks to promote an alternative that rests on individual freedom to decide and share thoughts with others.
Although it is also a space for personal networking, the main idea lies in the intellectual honesty to discuss issues, learn from others and grow as individual through the discipline of critical thinking.
OUR MISSION
Invigorate the critical thinking on moral, social, political and economic issues; promote intellectual independence at individual scale and build moral courage to reach a better understanding of our society and the world.
OUR VISION
Bright Hong Kong is and should be an arena of good faith, intellectual honesty and contribution of ideas for the well-being of people, culture and business.
